I gave my baby iron and he wasn't wearing a bib and got it all over the shirt. I pre-soaked it and then washed it and it's still there.
TIA

I would try shaklee's nature bright and the laundry detergent. It has worked wonders for many of my kids stains.

This won't help your stain, but I also learned the hard way that iron doesn't come out.
What I used to do was give it to the baby while inthe bathtub. It served two purposes- no stains, and I remembered to give it everyday.

thats why I hate giving the vitamins it always stained. I started to put the iron drops in the one bottle of formula that I feed her at night. it gets mixed with the formula so it doesnt stain. (I just have to hope that she drinks the whole bottle!)

It doesn't get absorbed as well with milk/calcium though....I mixed with applesauce with Vitamin C instead.

It actually does come out, treat it like a rust stain.

here's one way to take out a rust stain.

if its white you can also put lemon juice on it and bleach it in the sun.
