Of course, as usual, I will be working.
That is the down side of working for a company which the owners are Yeshivish.
(but then again, I still have to work on chol hamoed!)

I have the option of working legal holidays and using the days another time. Which I almost always do.

cleaning my house. my cleaning lady is not coming. and I still have to work. no rest for me. I am open every day of the year. except jewish holidays.

Basya - That's crazy! How could your employer have it both ways? He should either give off legal holidays or chol hamoed - he can't make you work both! How unfair.

At least you have off for the Yomim Tovim so you don't have to use all your vacation time for that.

DH & I shipped the kids off to school, then went for breakfast & then into Manhattan to do a little shopping. Bought nothing though.
