My 2 year old has an adhesion. The doctor told us how to care for it and says he should grow out of it, the I port ant thing is to be really vigilant about keeping it clean. The first few days were really tough because it made him sore. The redness and soreness went away, but now ds freaks out just by seeing anyone come near his privates. During diaper changes he doesn't want to be wiped and he won't let the cloth near him in the bath. I am VERY gentle, and it takes 3 seconds to do what needs to be done. He crosses his legs or covers it with his hands to try to avoid it. I understand he was uncomfortable for a few days, but when will he stop being afraid? Its been over 2 weeks since the redness went away. Is he still sore? Is he traumatized? When will I be able to clean him without a struggle?
