So I have been giving DS sippy cups with a straw and he does very well with them. I prefer straws to a spout since it is supposed to be better for that child.
The first cup we got him was this one: http://nuby.com/en/nuby/cups-spouts/9911/
It worked well but after a couple months it started leaking since the no leak part got stretched out. Usually this only happened if it was lying upside down or being shaken so that water came out.
Pesach we bought a new cup. The store didnt have the ones we had before so we got the flip top cups: http://nuby.com/en/nuby/cups-spouts/9935/ which we thought would be good because even if the straw leaked then it would be coverable and really no leak.
It worked for a few months (about 3) and then something happened and it now leaks like crazy. it seems like the seal of the straw to the outside is not good and it comes through the hole where the straw is.
Does anyone have ay recommendations for a straw sippy cup that will not leak? Links are appreciated.
Thanks

Try the Thermos Foogo one, or Oxo. A straw sports bottle might be good too.
