ANy good recipes for tu b'shvat?

I wanted to incorporate fruits into my shabbos meal, I dont like super sweet things.

for one side dish I was thinking of rice I was thinking of a brown rice with sauteed onions sour cherries and craisins.

any ideas for chicken or a good dessert, or another side dish that would be in the spirit of tu b'shvat?

even a challah recipe?

anything toddler friendly?

thanks!

I made a really yummy side dish last week. I took wheat ( you can use brown rice) and prepared it. I sauted onions, fresh garlic and celery diced on the small side. When soft I added orange juice, curry, cumin, cinnemen, raisens (golden and black) But you can add any dried fruit (apricots, dates...) and pinenuts ( I would add slivered almonds because it looks so pretty and gives a great crunch but my dh is allergic) after it boils for a while spoon it and mix with wheat/rice. (It should all be absorbed not liquidy)

fruit chicken:

put in a pot:

olives, apricots, prunes, vinegar, some brown sugar, water, garlic powder, salt, and a drop of olive oil. bring to a boil and then let simmer for about 15min or until the different ingredients begin to blend. Then put the chicken in and add a little more water cover and simmer on a low flame for a long time,( it can also be done in slow cooker) until the chicken is really done and moist. Sould be around 2-3 hrs. Serve the chicken with rice on the side to soak up the gravy ( I use brown rice). Its really yummy and flavourful.

I'm gonna try:
date nut bars (purle cookbook),
sour cherry apple compote,
fruit kebobs dipped in choc.,
fruit kugel,
chicken with orange and onion slices,
salad with grapes, mango, pear, and rimon,
olive dip
except for date nut bars, I don't have recipes. just make up as I go along.

Anyone care to post their favorite Tu B'Shvat recipes? We're having guests over and I don't think I've ever made a real Tu B'Shvat seder before... Any recipes would be appreciated!!!

I baked Challahs for Shabbos, and instead of spreading Sesame on top, I sprinkled slivers of Dried Fruit.

They look amazing!
I will try to post some pics later.
