'Scuse my naivete, but what is the point of footless tights for babies? I see the point for women, but babies? Don't they usually need socks anyway in tights weather?

I don't get it either. It's so much easier to keep a baby's feet warm in (footed?!) tights than in socks that they keep pulling off.

no, that's the funny thing. Someone just bought my baby a bunch of these footless tights and they are THIN like nylon stockings, but in different colors, some with patterns, etc. They are definitely not leggings (which of we have plenty of and plenty of opportunities to wear them). Like, they will rip after crawling around on the floor a little bit.
