Tomato soup - super easy and cheap and ready in 10 minutes.

Get a 28 oz can of diced tomatoes. Get a few cans of condensed tomato soup. Mix and add just a little bit of brown sugar. Fresh ground black pepper and a little parsely. Add cooked rice and done.

I make a tomato soup that is no cook. You just mix boiling water, spices, a bit of sugar and tomato puree in a big bowl. It tastes like canned tomato soup - mine and DH's favorite and perfect for a last minute meal - literally you put the kettle on, assemble other ingredients, add water, done. I'm sure kids would like it too.
