Anybody ever freeze deli meat?
How does it defrost?
I want to freeze sliced corned beef and turkey so it stays fresh through a plane ride and I'm wondering if that can be done.

I've done it - never had a problem.

I freeze it all the time. It defrosts fine. Tastes fine just sometimes a little watery depending how long it was frozen

A little. Sometimes I blot it with paper towels before serving.

I'm going to try it.
I usually just put it (not frozen) with an ice pack in a cooler, but I need it to last longer.
Thanks.

Just make sure it's wrapped really well and it should be fine.

It's freezes nicely, especially if you use within 2 weeks, will not get watery or soggy in that short time frame.
Enjoy your trip!
