Anon b/c despite my superb cooking skills, my baking skills are embarrassingly sub par...
So I tried to make a batch of plain old chocolate chip cookies, and ended up with a big Blondie. Not a tragedy by any means, but how can I make sure they're cookies next time? Also, I prefer my cookies chewy rather than crispy, so how does that work? Thanks.

Are you leaving enough space between the cookies? Make sure to leave an inch and a half or 2 inches.
Here is a good chewy cookie recipe if you want...no margarine only oil! I've made it so many times!

sorry that happened
-leave 2" between each cookie
-follow directions exactly, if recipe says 10-12 minutes, go with 10 minutes. you should take the cookies out before they seem set to you.
