I am preparing my shaloch manos, as much as possible ahead of time. I am looking at a recipe for cream puffs, which include dough and once baked, I am supposed to fill them with a pareve cream (Rich's Whip.) My question is, can I freeze these ahead of time before or after putting in the Rich's Whip? Or do I have to wait till closer to Purim to defrost the puffs, and then put in the Rich's Whip?
Thanks.

I think the cream puffs frozen get soggy in general (even without the cream ) if not fresh but I may be wrong....

My recipe of cream puffs can be frozen - but when defrosting they have to be left uncovered in open air & not stacked.
I would not freeze them filled though.
Hey you just gave me a great MM idea!

if you're already freezing the cream puffs - you might as well fill them first ...
