Roast in Cranberry Sauce

1 tob rib roast, dekel roast or 1st cut brisket
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
3 tbsp. onion soup mix
garlic powder

Put meat into roasting pan fatty side up. Season generously with garlic powder. Mix together 1 can cranberry sauce and 1 package (around 3 tablespoons) onion soup mix. Spread over seasoned meat. Cover tightly with foil. Roast at 350 degrees for about 2-1/2 hours or until meat is beginning to get soft.

Remove from oven, cool overnight, and slice across the grain. Return meat to a roasting pan. Continue cooking (around 1 hour more) until meat is very soft.

Times will vary depending on size of roast.
