I have to call in for federal jury duty in Brooklyn. I have already served twice in Queens in local jury duty but don't know ANYONE that has done federal in NY. In NJ I know people that have had to go to federal jury duty once a week for months!
Has anyone been called in NY, what was your experience, and if I bring a letter that we have 4 days of Pesach coming up, will that get me off?

Dh had federal jury duty in Manhattan. The first day, they told him about the case, (Bin Laden's son-in-law) and he had to fill out a questionnaire. He was told to call on Friday to see if he has to report the next Monday. He called and was told to call back the following Friday. He did and had to go back the next Monday. He waited around all day, came back the next day, and was told to go home. The jury selection was complete and he wasn't needed.
