I want to make the parve pyramid cheese cake from this weeks Binah, but I want to make it milky. Do I just substitute the cream cheese and sour cream or will I have to change the amounts and baking time?
Thank you

You can replace without changing anything

I'd just use a dairy recipe.

I'm no expert baker, but I seems wiser to use a recipe which was optimized for dairy vs. reverse engineering a parve recipe which probably started out based on a dairy recipe which was tweaked to made it work as a parve recipe.
But maybe Pineapple has more expertise in this department than I do.

I agree with drmom. But it may be fine. Is it the type of recipe where you make a sweet cream cheese filling and layer it with cookies? Like a triangle cheesecake? In that case I don't think it will make a difference. If it is baked though you may want to use an original recipe.
