I am toying with the idea of serving a chilled soup on shavous night, possibly dairy but not necessarily. The rest of the meal will be dairy. I am leaning towards a herb soup based on zuchhini or garden peas and I think it sounds delicious but seeing as I have never made it before, I am a bit worried as to how well recieved it will be.
If any of you have some tried and true recipes that are generally successful, I would love to hear/

That reminds me that I want to make Gaspacho. (It's usually a combination of tomato juice blended with some other vegetables. I have made it for Shavuos the last few years.

How funny - my DD is eating the KBD Zuchinni soup this very moment. It's leftover from Shabbat.
It is a great soup but I personally really dislike it cold and so do a number of other people I know. I do like cold soups like gaspacho and cold fruit soups. I just don't like the mouth feel of this one when it's served cold.

thanks MBV.
Do you think that a dollop of yoghurt or creme fraiche would add to it?
