How much does a good quality sheitel cost, one that will last a long time, not make problems, good hair? I have not bought a sheitel in 6 years, and back then it was about $1000. I live in Israel, if that makes a difference in terms of price.

Depends what you want. There are wigs for 200 and there are wigs for 5000..
What do you need,, what can you afford...

in israel ppl pay 2000-2500 on gorgeous shaitels! go to hertzelia dayan..tonz of my friends got gorgeous shaitels there. I spent 3500 here in america and the shaitel is as good as theirs
