I used to buy my opaque tights at a dollar store that closed.
What brand opaque tights do you recommend?

What brand opaque tights do you recommend? | Florence microfiber tights in 60 or 80 denier (80 only has light control top).

Levante Luxury Satin Control Opaque Tights (the blue package, with the woman on it).
Theyre expensive but they last the longest.
Anyone know where to get them for the lowest price?

second vote for berkshire. They're not cheap but they're worth it!

Btw, theres more than one type of Berkshire and more than one type of Levante Opaque tights.
How do the Levante compare to the Berkshire.

I've always liked Hue and DKNY opaque tights. (They definitely will be pricier than those you've gotten at the dollar store.)
I recently bought a pair of ribbed opaque tights from Target (Merona brand) and I really like them.

For those who have used Levante Luxury Satin Control Top Opaque Tights, has anyone found similar to them, with good control top, for cheaper? These cost about $11 a pair, I think.

I buy Spanx black opaque. They're around $14 at department stores but so far I still have all of the pairs I bought 5 years ago and they have zero pilling or holes. I only buy more if I need a different size. I do the same for maternity. It just makes sense. Why buy new each season?

Are yours control top? Do you mean these?

If you get them for $14, thats a super price. Can I ask where?

Oy I misremembered because I haven't bought in like 2 years!!!
Yes, they are the tight end (control top) black opaque. I got them at Nordstrom or Amazon for around $28. Spanx.com has discounts for signing up for emails and stuff
I also get the Assets by Spanx- really similar for $14 on Amazon. I get both mama spanx and assets for maternity.
They are amazing- the top band isn't too tight it really holds nicely without cutting in or causing muffin top. AND you can breathe in them

If you like a control top, I recommend Butterfly. For more comfortable tights I recommend Memoi (I have completely opaque) or Palm (they have a no seam option). Palm are my favorite but there are not many color options and they have distinct bulletproof look.

I tried many brands before falling in love with Melas. I had to start the search again after I got pregnant, and am now considering changing my "favorite" to Snag tights. BUT, it completely depends on what you are looking for, OP! I hate support tights and control tops - I want as much comfort and stretchiness as possible while still maintaining opacity (minimum 50 denier). I am also plus-size, so MANY brands don't make big enough for me. You might want to try being more specific about what YOU want out of tights:)
