Are my posts tooooo long?

I noticed that even when I mean to make a short point my posts are often long.
Ouch.
Hope long and boring aren't synonymous but I'd love feedback
Are my posts like totally way too long?
Should I try to say them in less words or we're cool with the shpiel?

I don't wanna bore anyone to death.
It just dawned on me. Now don't rip me apart here.... Just some constructive feedback

That happens to me too sometimes!

What I do when I am trying to be concise is write out the whole Megillah and then edit it down. Other times I don't care so much and just leave it long... Wink

IMO, try to separate into paragraphs, because it makes speed reading easier.

Its generational and punctuational. And of course dependent on whether one has attention span deficiencies.

I write long. If someone doesnt want to read it, that fine. Its a free country. Your posts are just fine!

I'm not saying your posts are long, but I do like long posts. As long as it's written in a comprehensive and clear manner. I feel like I get more of a background story. Smile

Pickle... I see, and I totally get the short attn span cuz I often dont have patience to read the long ones. but when I type.... my soul just flows out if ya know what I mean.
When I talk - im not like that. just with pen, paper or keyboard!

I just feel like I get it all out clearly that way.

but I dont want to be the poster that is so boring cuz its all so long and so not fun to read!

It makes ANY reading easier. Sorry, Bitachon, I have no prejudice against long posts, being rather verbose myself, but I WILL "walk on by" posts that are a solid block of text with no white space. You don't have to write a perfect paragraph following the rules of Elements of Style, but you do have to allow the reader's eye a place to rest. No matter that your heart is overflowing and the words are gushing out of you, hitting "return" "return"every so often is not going to put much of a crimp in your style. It IS going to make it more likely that people like me will take the time to read you.
