Yeah so I should really think about these things farther in advance. I will search Aish and other Jewish article sites but would love to know if anyone has read anything interesting about Chanukah or anything related to Chanukah (e.g. interesting historical tidbits about the era)
Anything, really. I'm fishing for something to read with students that's different from the usual.
Intellectual rather than inspirational please.
Thanks in advance for any leads!

Imhappy, depending what level you're looking for, I found some material on YUtorah.org. In general the reading level is too high for me, I was looking for 5-6 grade readability.

I would love a high school level essay or something short regarding the culture clash of the Jewish and Greek worldviews. Any ideas?

Culture and worldview sounds like something you might find on aish.com, or Chabad website perhaps?
