I absolutely hate walking into work all the time with a shaitel knotted and clumpy as well as frizzy from the friction of coat meets shaitel.
(Yup... Coat, meet shaitel. But by all means keep it smooth, will ya!?)
Anyone else have this issue or is it just me?
I'm so embarrassed every day trying to brush out the ship wreck every day for fifteen minutes when I get to work!
I'm positive other ppl out there have this issue... So what's ur advice?

1. Get a really short sheitel
2. Get rid of the sheitel; wear just a hat

How about tucking your shaitel under the collar of your coat? or wrapping a scarf or shawl around the bottom of your shaitel & then putting on your coat. It might help the whole static issue.

I try tucking in, tucking out and a scarf. So far a look like a freak regardless. Shaitel is just past my shoulders.
Does this not happen to anyone else?

Try a silk scarf. Someone once told me that for people who get knotty hair from sleeping it works to sleep on a silk scarf or pillow. Maybe the same would work with your coat?

The inside of the hood should be smooth fabric, not fleecy or furry.
I need a new coat and this is just one of the many criteria that make it impossible to find the perfect coat.

A dry cleaner should be able to sew a satin lining inside your hood for you.
I find a silk scarf over my sheitel words just fine.

Get one of those granny hoods. You know those plastic hoods that tie under the chin that my grandmother used when it was raining so as not to ruin her styled hair.

My coat is wool and it still knots my shaitel. No idea how to fix it. I tried putting in those frizz free serum drops, but made no difference
