OK, finally getting my act together for Purim (though much planning for Peach already done). Want to try something different but relatively easy for seuda. Anyone ever make savory hamantashen? Can you share recipes and shortcuts?

Any regular knish recipe can be made into hamentaschen.
I've done potato, salmon, ground beef, broccoli, and cabbage.
You can use frozen puff pastry or sambusak rounds instead of making your own dough - not the healthiest way to go but definitely yummy.
I've also done pizza hamentaschen, which is just triangle pizza pockets.

The Jerusalem Post weekend edition just had an article on this with recipes. See if you can find it online.
