picasso tiles? stick n stack? playmags? magworld? the options are dizzying. does anyone have up to date info/ experience with any of these or other brands? I am looking for the best most affordable brand magnetic tiles. thanks!

I am happy with the playmags. It pays to buy them when they go on sale for Chanukah or pesach.

Were really happy with the Picasso Tiles. And they're compatible with Magna Tiles, too.

Magformers are really nice as well. They are a little different from the magnatiles and playmags in that they are hollow, but that allows them to have a stronger magnet and be manipulated and held. Children are able to "show their parents" what they create with magformers without having them collapse as easily as the magnatiles.
