How do you hear a lasagna on Shabbos? Does it heat all the way through on a blech/hot plate?

Just wanted to point out that you are not allowed to place foods directly on a blech or hotplate on shabbos but you can always take it out of the fridge a couple of hours early to be room temp.
I will b making a quinoa salad, tuna, salmon, egg salad, possibly beans. I find the key is to stuff up on protein and water.

Please be careful about dispensing Halachik advice that may not be accurate. You most certainly can put food (not liquid) on a plata from the fridge to warm up on shabbos.

Some hold that you can put 'dry' foods (I.e. without liquid, sauce or gravy) on a hotplate on Shabbat itself - this is what we do most weeks. We also use a timer and put the food on before the hotplate turns on. I agree heating a lasagna is problematic because of the sauce - it would have been OK for Fri night if put on to heat before Shabbat, but probably not on Shabbat itself.
After my other thread, seuda shlishit menu is:
Tuna patties (heated)
Vegetable Kugel (heated)
Roast peppers and onions (heated - will make sure no excess liquid beforehand)
Boiled eggs
Barley salad
Cut-up fruit (if I can remember to get)

You are no better than the poster you are challenging.
Please be careful not to dispense halachic advice. Period.

Any recipes for a dairy noodle kugel that's good served cold (or room temp)? ... to avoid the heating up controversy!

Potato salad, salmon, cheese noodle kugel, quinoa, muffins, watermelon. I have found that hydrating 2 days before a fast really makes a huge difference ..... I pass out drinks to everyone frequently-even the neighbors' kids are used to it already.
