What do you bring to work with you to eat - I.e. breakfast, lunch, snacks etc.
I'm looking for non fatening ideas that dont cost too much and dont have to be refrigerated or heated up.

cooked spinach in container
pear, apple, or whatever fruit...
baked sweet potato
can sardines
cut-up kohlrabi and other fresh veggies such as pepper, tomato, kirby
I cook my chicken soup Fri. morn and then pack in a plastic 1-lb. container and eat it an hour or two later, it's not piping hot but nice and warm: chicken, squash, carrot, broth...yummmm...

Defy - can I come to your work!? that sounds awesome, im lucky if I have some dried fruit and pretzels!
I am terrible about this, and seem to always be running late in the am, so I try to keep the following in my office:
-pretzels
-dried fruit
-nuts
-peanut butter
-instant oatmeal
-granola bars

I’m pretty fussy about food but I also don’t want to stand in the kitchen to prepare every single meal! I also have a variety of kosher restaurants nearby but I’m cheap, so . . .
Breakfast is yogurt and coffee. I keep granola bars and cereal at work if I get really hungry.
Lunch is salad – either a premade bag or leftover salad from diner. Sometimes I add leftovers from dinner like cut up chicken. Or I can add some tuna, some hard boiled eggs, etc.
I keep apples for snacks.
For emergencies, I keep diet soda in the fridge, w.w. pita bread in the freezer, and sliced cheese in the fridge. We have a microwave so I can nuke them if I’m out of salad.

cm ... all you need is sauce and spices and you got a pizza ...
I like to eat eggs for breakfast ... for lunch a yogurt fruit and granola are the quickest and lightest ... yesterday I was painting for somebody and it was hot outside ... I was starving like a big hungry man ... guzzeled a lot of water ...
but in general I get bored of the same foods over and over

Defy, YUM!
I keep a jar of Trader Joe's crunchy peanut butter in my desk along with either rice cakes or Wasa crackers. I eat peanut butter for lunch almost every day. After Pesach, I started low carb and I eat a piece of cheese for breakfast with my coffee; sometimes with a rice cake/sometimes w/o.
I've lost weight w/this peanut butter thing and what could be easier It's healthy and yummy.

Do you make it in teh morning and eat it cold or make it at work? I only get full if I eat a sandwich for lunch so I am always looking for new ideas - I work in a non jewish place so I can't use the microwave
