How to clean under glass on dresser?

Any ideas on how to clean under the glass that's on top of the night table? Dh spilled soda and seeped under the glass and don't want to get bugs. Tia

You can easily lift the glass to clean the area.

Tried that. Could it be that the glass is glued/ stuck to the wood?

The glass extends to underneath the mirror too, so it's really secure. You'll have pull it forward before lifting it up. First time you won't believe you can do so until you actually get if off. So have someone with you and do it together carefully without running the furniture.

Be careful! I had a table w glass protecting one designed/gold leafed part of it and tried to lift it to clean below it. Turns out, it was stuck onto the table and the design got ruined...

That's what I'm afraid of. I'm going to call the furniture store later and see what they suggest
