9 year old is begging us for this so he can listen to his music on an organized, touch-screen device. From what I see online (and admittedly I am not techno savvy at all), it has wifi capabilities. Can I simply turn this off? Can he then simply turn it back on, in theory? I absolutely do not want him to have internet access.
Also - this is coming from the "natural" side of me rather than the chinuch perspective - if I "turn off" the wifi does that mean the signals aren't even being emitted altogether? We are a no wifi family (for example, I don't use my fitbit provided to me by my employer, no smartphones, etc.) due to our belief wifi is not healthy and we try to avoid it as much as we can (obviously understanding it's everywhere, but still, doesn't mean we have to wear it).
I also read it has wireless signals for headphones and speakers - does this mean if I use an actual wire for headphones and speakers the wireless signal won't emit?
