There is no one answer. Classes with 20 kids or classes with 26 kids have a different amount.
What's the mortgage on the building? Is it a 5 million dollar property? 20? 45? How much support and administrative staff is there? Is there art? Music? Sports?

What are the teachers being paid? 40,000? 75,000? 100,000?

It generally costs more to educate high school students because of subject teachers. In elementary school you might have 2 teachers (kodesh and General) plus maybe art and or music and or sports.
A high school student can take 10-15 subjects in some cases all with different teachers.

But yeah ask your school for the budget breakdown from the 2014-2015 year.

I work in a MO school and we charge quite a bit and it still doesn't cover the cost of education each child.

if your school has a tax return ask to see it and ask how many kids there are in the school and then do the math.
