I will be in Israel this week and would like to do a hike with my sister.
We will be in Jerusalem area.
Any recommendations for a scenic but doable hike. We are both young and in good shape so it can be somewhat strenuous.
TIA

Ein Gedi is gorgeous and has a number of great hikes, from easy to strenuous, so you can mix and match based on weather and your energy levels.

Yes, but not a great idea this time of year. Better to head out of Jerusalem the other way (like towards Sataf) than towards the Judean desert/Dead Sea area for hikes. There are frequent flash floods in the winter time, making it extremely dangerous and very unpredictable.

Was just at Sataf, gorgeous this time of year, very close to Jerusalem and they have many different levels of hiking trails to choose from
