I feel great after having a baby and am out and about from when I come home from hospital. I went to the mikvah at 4.5 weeks all 4 times.

You might be confusing this with the minhag to listen to Borchu before the new mother goes out alone with the baby / is left alone with the baby, or the minhag for the new father to bench gomel in shul after 30 days with the mother possibly going to shul to listen to the bracha if she can.
