I'm making supper for some guests, doing spaghetti and meatballs. How much do I need to make for 4 adults and 3 kids?

For myself and husband and daughter I usually make 1 lb and half a box of spaghetti

Thanks!

Are there any side dishes or that's the whole meal?

I'd say 3 pounds ground meat for the meatballs and 2 packages spaghetti.
Add a soup and salad too. One of those sides should be more well rounded and filling in case somebody would rather fill up on something else.

This is what I would say, too.

Yes fruit and salad for sure. Maybe two salads, one with grain and protein. Enjoy!

I think 2 lbs of pasta and 2 lbs of meat is enough but if you want to make 3 lbs go for it. I definitely would add a salad and if you have time fruit and another veggie is great, but if you don't have time, it's fine. No need to make yourself crazy when doing a chesed.
