My teen dd just came back from sleepover camp. She has 6 weeks left until school starts! She had no interest in working at a job. Any ideas of how she can fill her days?

Are there any girls that she knows who are home?

She should be old enough to come up with her own entertainment. The next time she complains that she's bored, give her a chore. I promise you, she'll find all kinds of fascinating things to keep herself busy!

It works every time. Wink

Is she allowed to use the computer? There are programs that she can use to teach herself to code.

Code academy
Scratch

When I was that age I spent most of my free time reading, doodling, cooking etc

it's okay to just chill - relax - find things that are interesting by herself ...

this is how one develops a sense of self
