My life is very stressful and exhausting and I can't afford vacation. My dh kindly offered to take s day off from work to babysit so that I can have a day to myself
What can I do alone in the city?
I need names of relaxing spas, kosher restaurant....
I've never done this!

What's your budget? I don't know spas so well, but for kosher restaurants, there's Reserve Cut, Mike's Bistro, and Abigael's (near Broadway and Times Square), which are all fleishig. Va Bene is great for dairy, though its location isn't so convenient unless you find a spa nearby.

Maybe look on groupon for a good spa.
My girls go for a painting class in NYC, they found on groupon
They took there little sis when she turned 21.
They had a blast.
It was BYOwine and since she turned 21 they brought a bottle of Bartenura with them.

There are so many things to do. I don't know what you enjoy. Visit Madame Tuesade at Time Square. Milk and honey is right there for lunch. Browse the Apple store. Relax in Central park. Dinner is Mr Broadway or Abigails. Stroll through Rockifeller plaza area and Bryant park

I feel weird going alone to a paint class or museum. I just need some quiet pampering time at a very soothing spa.
Any suggestions?

A day in nyc could wind up being more pricy than you expect, especially if you want a pampering spa.
Would you consider closer to home; maybe a nice massage at a Massage Envy location, then follow up with a facial and nails at another stop? Go out for coffee in between, meet a friend for early dinner, and then do some browsing in stores?

I'm in the mood of spending on myself.
I want to go to a place with a very relaxing ambiance, beautiful surroundings, etc.
Any spa like that in Brooklyn?
