That is exactly what I was thinking as I was reading this thread!
Why would you choose Windex, of all things to clean a table & counters? My favourite kitchen spray is "Lysol Kitchen & Bathroom" it comes in a white spray bottle with purple writing on it. It is anti-bacterial, but it also has a pleasant smell.
Windex doesn't really clean very well. It is only really useful for avoiding streaks while cleaning windows and mirrors.
