Bagels, with tuna, cream cheese and lox. Too hot to turn the oven on. A/c decided not to work.

Some cake I bought. Breaded flounder baked and creamed dairy potoatoes and sour cream.
Might do a watery veggy soup too.
I generally dont like veggies when breaking a fast especially raw. I find it too harsh on my stomach. Baked fish and potaotes are my go to.

Leftovers from Shabbos. Challah, salmon, rice, green salad, tuna salad. Maybe DH and I will do an Indian food Tasty Bite package mixed with the salmon and rice.

Most of them are kosher. Some are pareve.
We order them in bulk. DH loves them for work lunches or the days he comes home really late and wants to do his own dinner while I'm dealing with other things.

Here's some online info about the hechsher/mashgiach. As always, AYLOR.
Quote: |
The Kosher Inspection Service of India is run by Rabbi Avraham Binyamin, a Rabbi in Mumbai (Bombay). There are several vegetarian products that carry his hashgacha, including food service on ElAl flights from Mumbai and Delhi, and a couple of labels that can be found in Miami and on the Internet....
Dr. Nathan Katz - F.I.U. Prof. of Religion - who is a specialist in the Jewish communities of India received assurances from the community in Cochin that Rabbi Binyamin may be relied upon in matters of kashrut. Dr. Katz also commented that the Cochin community is machmer. |
We order it from Amazon when they have a special, or we buy them at Trader Joe's.
They're all good! Read labels, and pick what appeals to you!

I always look at those Indian Food packets and want to buy them but I was told by Kosher Quest that it's not a reliable hescher. I would LOVE to be able to buy them. Maybe I will relook into it! Enjoy.

I have a pot of carrot/potato soup cooking and a loaf of bread rising in the breadmaker. But I'm really craving egg and cheese on an everything bagel. And iced coffee or chocolate milk.

Why would you say something like this, if a poster here says that she and her husband rely on this hechsher and eat this brand? It's beyond rude.
