2 tb oil
2 tb ww flour
1 pounds broccoli
6 c water
3 cloves garlic(chopped)
2 tspn salt
pinch black pepper
1 med potatoe
Brown flour and oil on med flame. Add broccoli, water, spices, and garlic and bring to boil. Lower flame and cook for 25 min. Add potatoe and cook another 20 minutes. Blend.
Hearty appetite!

I want to try to make this soup...anyone know if I can use regular flour instead of whole wheat? What does the flour add?

Yes you can use regular. It thickens the soup a little bit.
I used to make this all the time, it is delicious!

I would skip the flour or use all purpose but would not use whole wheat flour in soup.
