Does it have an halachic source? I'm currently not in the best place emotionally and just don't feel like dipping. I can probably push myself but I'm wondering if everyone does it or is it just the way I know?

I have only heard it about it for women on imamother. Is this a chassidish minhag?

chassidishe women definitely go. but it's not like TH mikva. Just clean yourself and dip. No chafifa/scrubbing etc. No one watches you.
it's not halacha. I believe it's just a minhag.

I never heard of women dunking any time except for niddah and conversion.

I'm wondering the same and would love to know the source if there is any. I am chassidish and my husband expects me to go but I really do not feel up to it

My family is chassidish and it is not our Minhag. I have a relative that is not chassidish and goes.
I don't know if it is specifically a chassidish minhag.

It's not chassidish. It's a minhag, and some people do, some don't.
I always thought EVERYONE toiveled on Erev Y"K because my mother and grandmother did. Imamother is the first place I'm learning that people don't.

Not my Minhag but my husband went today since he won't have time tomorrow and I was thinking how I sort of feel like dipping too. It sounds so (spiritually) refreshing.

It is a minhog but it's actually nothing to do with chassidim / not chassidim. It's actually brought down in kitzur shulchon oruch

I knew about it from my mother but I doubt it's chasidish. I don't go bec I just don't wanto meet the whole world by a place I never wanto meet them. I just became increasingly uncomfortable over the years so I just don't go. It's more then enough I have to go for tahara. I hope it's not Halacha.

My thoughts as well. Thanks for sharing. Good to know I'm not the only one stopping a minhag...

I also never heard of women going to the mikvah erev Y"T until I read about it here.
My father and brothers go but DH doesn't have that minhag.
