I recently changed my over the table kitchen light fixture from CFL to led bulbs . They look like the traditional incandescent light bulb... The bulbs keep on blowing ..... Sometimes after 2 months and sometimes after a few weeks .. And they are expensive .... I am wondering if the fixture itself is causing the bulbs to surge and blow (it's about 8 years old ) or if the thing with led bulbs are that they are expensive ... Save energy while burning .... But so sensitive that they blow fast (perhaps made in China etc...)
Anyone have similar experience ?

Shouldn't be happening. Do you keep using the same brand led? Maybe they're a bad batch..

Definitely should not be happening. Call the LED bulb company.

No two different companies that's why I'm thinking maybe something to do with the fixture although I don't remember it happening with the CFL bulbs .... I guess the only way for me to know will be to try CFL bulbs again and see how long the last
