How do you clean it? |
Is it this style of pot, with copper on the outside?

You can clean that as you'd normally clean any metal pot (soap, scrubber, or put it in the dishwasher). When the copper starts to tarnish, scrub it with a half of a lemon dipped in salt. It takes elbow grease, but that will shine up the copper nicely.

In that case, all the areas you need to clean regularly are stainless steel and you can simply clean it with soap and a scrubber (or dishwasher). You don't need to be particularly gentle or anything as it's very durable. After a while the little strip of exposed copper may tarnish, and you can shine it back up with lemon and salt.

Thank you ! What type of stirring spoons do you use in your pan, wood or teflon?

I use wood and metal spoons for the most part. You can use any material on stainless steel.

How do I make crispy rice if I don't use a nonstick pot.
And I definitely don't need 2 big pots.
Also the calphalon signiture (3x bonded) which says is metal utensil friendly came out more money, because there was a special on all clad.
Anyone here have the cuisenart pots?
