not sure if I should post this here or by recipes or under a different section or what but my baby's first birthday is next week and I want to make cupcakes. I'm looking for a suggestion for cute birthday cupcakes.
I'm interested in the decoration really, not looking for an actual ingredient recipe. Links with pictures would be helpful.
what I'm looking for:
for a boy (can be gender neutral)
white cake base (not chocolate)
not too complicated
will look cute in a "first cake" picture

This is funny because of the other thread that's going on about this!
If it's for a picture, I would make a big cupcake with colorful sprinkles. Your baby should look cute eating that, in the pictures!

which other thread?
yeah I was thinking of just doing plain white cupcakes, white frosting, and tons of colorful sprinkles. Too plain though if we invite guests over? or should I not really care.

Personally I wouldn't care. I did that for my son. The pictures were beyond adorable.

How about a giant cupcake with your little cupcakes around it? Or, you can make your little cupcakes with smiley faces on them - I have simple ways of doing both.
