My kids are being Egyptians- any ideas for a themed mishloach munos??

Blood (tomato juice)
Frogs (frogs)
Wild animals (animal crackers)
Hail (rock candy)
Locusts (buy a grasshopper shaped cookie cutter, add green food coloring to cookie dough)
Darkness (wrap it all in black tissue paper in a black box)
Etc.

Peanut butter rice krispie treats cut into triangles as pyramids

Mummy pretzels -take long pretzel sticks and zig zag with white chocoloate and add chocolate googly eyes as a mummy

Hieroglyph cookie - if you do royal icing thats the best. If not make a black and white cookie and only ice with white and then trace a hieroglyph from online in chocolate on a baking sheet, let it dry and stick on the icing.
I would individually wrap each item in celophane bags with an eygyptainy label and lay on a gold/ bronze tray on top of a layer off edible sand (light brown sugar with a little white sugar added to make it lighter).
Wrap with a blue and gold ribbon ( or whatever color the costumes are) - your good to go...
