Just learned that pumpkin seeds may be considered kitniyot. Does this apply to all squash seeds? If so, can I still use squash on Pesach, just scoop on the seeds? How weird.

The cRc Pesach shopping guide (which is also printed in Kashrus Magazine) says that pumpkin seeds are NOT kitniyos and are acceptable for Pesach if raw and without additives.

If you buy them either bulk or prepackaged, they were processed with kitniyos and likely chometz. You can dry your own fresh seeds in the oven.

They're delicious tossed with salt and toasted. But I usually just discard.
