Thinking a little bit ahead for next year, we might make pesach next year. Where did you get your wine glasses? Where I was they had perfect size 4oz wine glasses--but they were prone to spills. I have this small 5oz short stemmed glass that's really old,but don't know where to get more.
What do you use and where did you get them?

Ooooh they sound so pretty, maybe an antique store?
I'd love to know where to get the small glass bowls for the kearah? Dh's silver plate one didn't have the glass bowls, so it was messy.

Cheap silver-plated ones from Eichler's - around $8 (?) each, and much nicer than disposable.

these are kool & pretty at the same time
I myself just don't fill glasses to the top because I find it annoying & unnecessary ... to me mehudar mitzva is NOT causing to spill on purpose - we have enough accidents without filling to the meniscus - lol

Macy's Longchamp brand cordial glasses about 5.5 ounces, go on sale for 9.99/4 every so often, especially for Black Friday.

We've gotten the perfect size glasses (in a few different styles-all with stems) in various 'frum' dry-goods stores in Brooklyn and Lakewood (in lkwd we went to center of town)

I got cut glass wine glasses in the right size from Amazing Savings. They weren't expensive.

Really pretty! Is 3 oz enough? I see there are a few versions of these types of Turkish tea glasses and I'm contemplating ordering.

The one I use looks exactly the same so I presume it's the same size too. DH bought it a number of years ago. He asked the local frum store for a glass with the smallest shiur and this is what they gave him.

the only problem with the smaller shiur is for Friday night (and I think that applies next year) Definitely ask your LOR before buying to avoid problems later (especially if you are buying now- by the time Pesach rolls around again it will probably be too late to return them).
Also don't assume that just because they look the same they are the same size. Many companies produce identical glasses in multiple sizes (longchamp, among others). They are made for different beverages and are meant to be used together (just like China, would you say that a plate is the same size as the one you have because the pattern is identical?)

Thanks so much. I thought 4 oz was the shiur. I'm going to investigate further.
