My children have a choice between obtaining a Swiss or English passport.

Which one is better to have?

Living in the UK and this whole brexit thing. Is there a difference?

Do you know how hard it is to get a Swiss passport? If they can, go for it!

I don't know that there's a difference, as both countries are pretty universally recognized and respected. But if I had a choice and had to choose one, I'd go with Switzerland, as they have a mucher longer track records of being friends with everybody and having no enemies.

pre brexit, british. But now, probably no difference.

In any case, your kids won't lose eligibility for either, I assume. Should they want to live in the UK or switzerland they can always get a passport then.

Check UK laws. If you live in the Uk and are British you might need to enter on a British passport (similar to the USA and now Canada too)

What's wrong with both. I have tri citizenship from three different continents. Its safer. In case of war one never knows.

As long as they won't lose the chance for either, you can go with whatever is cheaper for now and get the other one later.
More is better, but usually there's not a rush.
My kids have three passports. And if they make Aliyah will get a fourth.
