Hey! Has anyone taken advantage of any such government programs for first time homeowners? We're in Brooklyn and looking into homes, per approved for a mortgage but wondering if there's any better options for saving ourselves some!!! money...thank you!!!

Did you end up doing this? I'm looking into this as well. The process seems complicated and you must use their bank.
any other loans/assistance you're aware of?
