Uber X is the lower end; regular cars, I think. It's lower priced.
Uber pool is ride-sharing.
Uber Black is black cars and pricier.

Not consistent. Sometimes more, sometimes less and sometimes the same. It depends where you're going, and the time of day.

If you don't mind sharing a ride with someone going in your general direction (which can add some time to your trip), Uberpool is a very economical option.
Otherwise, prices vary as other posters have said.
