Hi Ladies!
My non-Jewish colleague is asking me for wig recommendations for when she loses her hair following chemo (which she just started). She is willing to travel to Brooklyn. Is there a shaitel company that also knows how to work with ladies who are post-chemo or which specializes in wigs for such women?
She wants a a short bob or medium length in human hair, light brown and wavy, budget is around $1500 but willing to go higher.
TIA!

Milano is in that price range and deals with hair loss patients all the time. They have special caps which are necessary at the beginning before there's any hair to attach combs to and the scalp is sensitive. They also have a showroom in Brooklyn.

Milano works with hair loss but I find thr quality really poor. I'm pretty sure gali also works with hair loss...but why can't your friend get a wig from any company and not one that specifically specializes in hair loss?

I have heard that Gali makes a special line that is especially suitable for this purpose
