Independent of anything hospitality related, please be aware that according to the OU and many other authorities, there is no such thing as a "mezonos roll". If it looks like bread, tastes like bread, and is being used like bread for a meal, it is bread and presents all the halachic requirements of bread.
Now if you meant pastries shaped like rolls, as in pecan-stuffed cinnamon rolls to be served as a snack or dessert, that's a horse of a different color.

I'm aware that all of the above is true for Ashkenazim, but don't some Sefaradim hold differently? That's probably a technicality, though, since OP used an Ashkenazi transliteration.
