My neighbors husband is very very sick. She has all meals arranged but I'd like to send some comfort type food. Any ideas?

So thoughtful of you!
What about sending some containers of warm hearty soup that she can heat up for lunch and some baguettes? Or maybe a basket of fresh bagels, cream cheese and egg salad/tuna?
I'm assuming only supper is arranged and she probably doesn't have the head to prepare proper lunches.

So thoughtful of you! Maybe something sweet? Like brownies or cookies?
And like a previous poster said- ask if someone is making lunch for her.
