How to freeze fresh green beans

I have way way to many. Should I cook first and freeze or freeze uncooked ?

Drop in to boiling water for 30 seconds. Remove with tongs and drop into a big bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
Drain, dry and freeze.

30 minutes?! That would cook green beans to death. Did you mean 3 minutes?

Nothing is as good as fresh.
Saute it over a high flame with fresh garlic and kosher salt before serving.
