I just watched this Hebrew video of a woman's clinical death experience and am curious to hear what others think of it. I have a strong opinion about it but would like to hear what others think before I write my own feelings.

No, she's told that something terrible is going to happen to her and then she starts to feel very sick and eventually passes out a few days later. She's saved because she stops wearing jewelry outside of her house.

I don't know what to think of these stories. They definitely do not help me come closer to God. So, even if they are true, I don't spend my precious time watching them.

You asked for the guys' opinions so I'll respectfully step aside.

I don't know if we're talking about the same near death experience now as we were in 2016, but when I got to the thread it had already been mentioned that some NDE stories are "kosher" while some aren't, so I asked

Some hypotheses to start the ball rolling:
- people with "non-kosher" NDE stories are lying (in which case, couldn't people with kosher ones?)
- they imagined they saw what they thought they would after death (same question)
- the afterlife is ecumenical |

Assuming this woman is not insane or faking it:
Perhaps Hashem used her subconcious to tell her something that was her particular tikkun. Maybe in another life she did an aveira with something to do with jewerly. Hashem works in mysterious ways.
I can't imagine that this concept should be taken to mean that everyone should follow her example. It's just one story, of one person's experience.
