Our theme this year is a bakery. I am making homemade hamentashen and will be getting some sort of drink to put in. Question is what type of drink to put in and if I should put anything else in.

Chocolate milk small bottles or iced coffee box drinks.

I'd do a coffee in a hot cup like the ones they sell at a bakery. Homemade hamantaschen sounds delicious! I don't think you need anything else. I'd rather err on the side of giving less food since I don't think any of your recipients are starving and a lot of Meshloach Manos food often ends up being thrown out.

Hamentaschen with sparking grape juice and a mini metallic mask or miniature gragger to pull it together.
